About Royal Caribbean Cruise

ROYAL CARIBBEAN CRUISES LTD. LEADS THE WAY WITH CHINA AWARDS DOUBLE

Shanghai, September 9, 2009 - Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. has reinforced its global reputation for excellence after being voted top cruise company in two categories at the annual Travel Weekly China Travel & Meeting Industry Awards.

The company collected the prizes for 'Best Luxury Cruise Operator' (Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.) and 'Best Cruise Line for Meetings and Events' (Royal Caribbean International) at a ceremony held at the start of leading Chinese travel trade show CIBTM in Beijing on September 7, 2009.

Both awards are voted for by readers of print trade magazine Travel Weekly China and its website Travel Weekly China Online from a shortlist drawn up by industry experts. Travel agents are asked to rate participating travel companies on their service quality, expertise, customer satisfaction and the way they have adapted to the Chinese market.

Dr Zinan Liu, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., managing director China, commented: "Royal Caribbean is very proud to have won these two prestigious awards. We are committed to growing our presence in this important and fast developing market, so it is especially pleasing to that our efforts to foster even closer ties with the trade is paying off.

Wherever Royal Caribbean operates we make sure our relationships with the travel agent community are our top priority. China is an exciting market with huge potential - we look forward to even more success in the years to come.

Royal Caribbean has significantly expanded its presence in China this year, with new offices in the cities of Beijing and Guangzhou joining its Shanghai facility, which opened in July 2007.

The company is now entering its second season of sailings in Asia with two of its brands, Royal Caribbean International and Azamara Cruises.

In 2010 Royal Caribbean International will officially operate year-round in Asia, with around 40 sailings scheduled with Legend of the Seas. Chinese ports will be included in most of the itineraries and from March through July 2010 Legend of the Seas will operate out of Shangha's new Shanghai cruise terminal offering 5- to 7- and 8-night sailings.

Legend of the Seas guests can enjoy the line's award-winning Broadway-style musical revues from Royal Caribbean Productions, multiple onboard bars and lounges throughout the ship, and Vegas-style gaming in the Casino Royale. The ships' onboard Day Spa also offers a full range of rejuvenating treatments, and the adults-only Solarium pool provides a more relaxing environment. Younger cruisers will laugh and learn in the line's top-rated Adventure Ocean kids program, with teen-only dedicated spaces.

Meanwhile, Azamara Cruises' 694-guest Azamara Quest, which features Azamara butler service in every stateroom, complimentary specialty dining and a laid-back, no-formal-nights elegance, is also making a number of China calls - including Guangzhou, Dalian, Shanghai and Tianjin - during its 2009-10 second season of sailings in Asia. Azamara Quest has already announced her third consecutive Asia season, beginning in late November of 2010 and continuing through April of 2011.
