Waking up in a new place everyday is a truly new experience! What better way to start the day than with some yummy breakfast?
When we arrived in Phuket, we shared a cab with Paul and Paula, a married couple from Manchester, who were celebrating their silver wedding anniversary onboard the ship. One of the best parts of going on the cruise is meeting people from all over the world and learning all about new cultures.
We spent the first half of the day touring the small towns in Phuket, such as Phuket Old Town and the Sea Gypsy Village.
Visiting the Sea Gypsy village made Jia Ling feel like a real gypsy herself!
Exciting activities such as para-sailing and speedboat riding await you on Patong Beach! We chose to lounge and admire the colourful procession of people and sails against the warm tropical sunset.

We made friends with some really friendly Thais and took lots of pictures with them.

Then it was back to the ship to rest for the day.
