The ship offers tours that you can sign up for at the excursions desk. We signed up for an “Old Goa with an Invitation to Tea” day tour package which brought us to the Basilica of Bom Jesus, St Catherine’s Cathedral and the Church of St Catejan.
Here is the Basilica of Bom Jesus.

Our bus passed by the beautiful villages of Goa, with Portuguese-inspired architecture. Soon after, we arrived at the village of Merces, the ancestral home of the Oliviera de Fernandes family, and who are now the sixth generation residing there.
Jia Ling outside the ancestral home of the family who hosted us.
Jia Ling with a local musician from Goa who entertained us at the ancestral home.
Joyce with a kindly member of the Oliviera de Fernandes family.
We had tea and snacks before driving around Pamjin, the capital of Goa before returning back to the ship.
Come nightfall, we enjoyed a lovely dinner once again. Kudos to our wonderful servers Dindo and Hongtang - The best waiters you could ever get!
